Hi,
I’m using JAK2 Extra fields Filter and Search 1.0.2 (I know it’s really dated !!) with Joomla 2.5.14 and K2 2.6.7

I’m wondering is there any way I can choose/specify some categories (say, only A, B not C, D, E) where the search/filter will be applied to and result will fetch k2 item only from those selected categories (A, B).

I read somewhere in some later version it can be specified in in the plugin. But, my problem is I need 2 search&filter modules one will search only category A,B and another will to search and show result from C, D, E

Any quick respond/advice would be highly appreciated.

That feature is in the latest version of A K2 Filter now so pls upgrade it to get more advantages.

The above link is not working. I’ll try the latest version though.

I have been recently facing another problem. I have a search module in a page called mysite/books. I created a hidden menu for the search result page. Problem is when some of my search results pagination. when I click on the pagination and it takes me to this page: http://mysite/books?start=10 which is actually the book page and I don’t see the search result page any more. Please help how could I fix this?

Thanks for your updated info.

After checking your site, I have some concern:

1. What version of JA K2 filter on your site ? Please update it to latest version ( now is 1.0.9) I don’t know why, but with your provided info, I still can’t access to JA K2 filter option to check the settings.
2. Did you use any extension that supports for SEF, if yes, please disable it and try to search by JA K2 Filter again.
