Hi,
In my earlier post no body from Joomart official support gave any answer????? So reposting this.
I am using Ja News FB and I can see a big extra space is getting added to my front page.
My website url: http://www.softwareqatestings.com/Please take it seriously and give me some reply. As a paid member I expect this much atleast.

I looked at your site, the first time you posted, but I could not make sense of the layout — it is so different from the Demo.. So, I did not respond.
Honestly, I do not think anyone can diagnose the situation with the information you provided. I think that may be the reason, no one answered.
Just the pre-requisite questions that may help others solve your problem.
- What version of Joomla did you use?
- How did you install your Joomla and Template?
- What version of the JA Teline II template?
- Did you perform a sequential Joomla installation then JA Teline II template?
- Either way, were you at least able to get the Demo page from fresh install?
Or, did you use the Joomla-Teline II QuickStart kit?
Your HomePage layout do not look exactly like the JA Teline II demo
- What do you mean by Ja News FB?
- Can you please provide a grab image of your entire Module Manager?
- Can you please go to the Edit page for your headline article:

The unwanted numerous <br /> and <p></p> would explain the extra spaces. Just remove them in the edit html window
Did you copy and paste from a rich text source?
Don’t shoot me if it will not work. 🙂 I have no background in scripting.

we have same problem, few time ago.
control u have installed 1.4 version of teline_2. If not, installed it and u’ll probably solve the problem.
infact as cgc observed in sourcecode of website, the real problem is news code which is bugged. it should be fixed in 1.4 version…gaygiorgia

I wonder what is causing the bug that you refer to. I do not encounter them.
Did you do a QuickStart Installation or the sequential Joomla => Install JA Teline II?
When I uninstalled and installed the latest version of JA News v1.3, at the time, it has so many bugs. So, I never did that again.
Do you have a separate Demo site for JA Teline II v1.4 gaygiorgia? Menalto told me that there are some people experiencing some problems on it.

July 12, 2008 at 6:32 am #259387Thanks guys for all the reply. I really appreciate it. I am facing problem with Ja News Frontpage module. Also my joomla version is 1.5 and I installed 1.4 version of the template yesterday.
Now I will try the solutions provided by you one by one and get back to you.

Raj,
I am glad I was able to help you.
MS Word is called a rich-text format. It adds all these crazy html mark ups. If you copy from MS Word or most other regular stuff that you use for writing. Be sure to paste it first in a simple. txt blank file or anything that will not retain the html markups from MS Word. I use PageSpinner, for example, before I paste it in a Joomla site.

July 12, 2008 at 4:11 pm #259427Not sure if it was intentional on your part, but you are not using the actual JA News module.
The modules you are using below JA Frontpage, that is User 8 and 9 have spacing problems.– not your fault, it was how the CSS was created for this position modules.
You should move those to the JA News position
