After installing Teline II / Joomla 1.0 the template page is up and running. Great fun, but I have encountered three problems:p:
1. When I try to replace the existing categories in the magazine menu, the colors disappear as soon as I rename the top item. They all get grey. Where is these colors set and organised?
2. In addition I cannot figure out how I can get additional items to show up (i.e. fall down – this has probably a name…) as you take the mouse over the menu at the top. I I just add a meny in the magazine menu manager, they do not show up when mouse over.

3. I am not able to open the template manager and edit the parameters for JA_Teline_II, e.g. regarding the logo text. In other words I can’t remove the Teline II Logo and replace it with my own text or logo. In my previous 1.5 installation, that worked fine, but if I click to edit the template, I just get another window with the same content.
Is this a bug or is it another way to change the logo?

I am also using teline 2. If there are some error messages appearing, it will be good to have them here.
If not, try again to follow these simple steps:
1 – go to http://www.euleksikon.info/administrator : this will lead you to your admin backend
2- Extensions > Template Manager
3- Then just click on Teline 2 and as shown on the attached picture, Select Image instead of text
4 – Then, go to your Cpanel (this is the control panel where your site is hosted). After login in,
5 – go to Templates (that is the templates for teline 2).
it’s like this: templates/ja_teline_ii/images6- Scroll down and you will see logo
7- Presuming that you have already your NEW logo, name it logo (the same as the default one) and then upload the new logo. You may be asked if you want to replace the new logo with the other one. Yes and try to refresh the live site.
Note: if the NEW logo has a different extension ie: jpeg or png, etc, you will not be asked to overwrite the existing logo.
I hope this will help.
If I have made some mistakes somewhere, please guys correct this.

OK, the thing is that the link ‘Joomla Teline II’ in the Template manager does not open the window as in your attached picture extens.JPG. (By the way, I run Joomla 1.0) But probably, the Logo Type is marked ‘Picture’ by default, since the JATeline-logo is in the template. So changing the logo in the Cpanel the way you describe should be possible. (The logo is not quite finished, so I will be trying this in the near future.)
