Hi, I use joomla 2.54 with k2 2.57
The JA Content Slider component don’t work well with SEF url.
Actually I use tha JA COntent Slider to show the articles of k2 category and when user click in the image the url is like “http://xxx//component/k2/item/271”.

Any idea to use SEF in this component?

I’m not quite sure what modifications you have done upon your installation, would need to take a closer look at your site. Please include screenshot and your site URL here for further investigation.

From your screenshot, I compared it with the original config JA Content Slider module and seem to be the same. I’m sure this module support SEF URL, you can define other URL and component K2 on .htaccess file.

You can find for preferences about .htaccess on K2 component with our best friend google or you use sh404SEF component will help you make the change on URL even faster and easier.

Hi Ninja,
I have this lines in my .htaccess.

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^casa-ato.es$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.casa-ato.es$
RewriteRule ^/?$ “http://www.casa-ato.com/” [R=301,L]

What should change I in this file to manage well the url in JA content?

For the url in JA content, i’m sure that it is using default path of joomla core, we never change any thing about path.

I’m not much experience about .htaccess file, I only use default htaccess.txt of joomla and change to .htaccess file with some little customization on this, you find on internet to get more some ideas about that
