I have test installed the 1.5.7 Ja Drimia Quickstart on several servers.

I enable sef and the links stop working. The only link that shows up is home.

I even tried unenabling the sef plugin and it looks the same – weird.

Please check this and let me know what to do? I tried this numerous times and always get the same result.

Yes, htaccess.txt is renamed: .htaccess

Has anyone found this to be a problem? I tried it on different servers to be sure. This is really holding me up.

where is your site hosted, some hosts are not htaccess friendly

The other templates work fine. It is only this one that is having the issue. There is something wrong with it.

When I install this template and enable sef the links no longer work at all. No links whatsoever show up. They all link to the front page.

Need more info:

– Joomla Version
– Apache or Windows IIS
– Any other info that would help

It might help to know who your host is also because some servers crap when you change their .htaccess file or the host may replace it with their version.

It is a vps on knownhost.

I run joomla all the time on this server. I installed other templates and sef works fine. It is this one in particluar that does not work.

I tried it on different servers and got the same result. When sef is enabled the links go bad.

If you were to install the quckstart and enable sef, I am sure you will find the same results. This is not a server issue as other templates do not have this problem. There is something wrong with the quickstart package.
