I’m not sure where to post this but the error is on our site using the Drimia template. When I turn on the SEF settings and mod rewrite we get a 403 error. We have other Joomla sites on the same platform and no issues with SEF. The urls appear as expected but are blocked with the 403 saying forbidden.

I have SEF on and mod rewrite on in the SEO config.
Uncommented tjhe Rewrite Base in the .htaccess file and still can’t get it to function

We waited 24 hours after changing to use the SEF settings but still not working so it’s not a propagation issue. If anyone has suggestions we would appreciate the advice.

I’m sure it’s something in the .htaccess. or the server settings (Linux).
