    Could someone help me i’m trying to find out why when i put on the sef urls the page changes and has a html vibe where the contents are displayed without image

    Did you rename your htaccess file in the html folder when you activated SEF URL’s?

    Yes. If you switch on SEF URL’s you have to rename your htaccess.txt file to .htaccess (dot.htaccess) in your html directory.

    Otherwise, it won’t work

    ok changed it to .htaccess and put on the sef url and it’s not working
    Ps the frontpage is the pnly page that works on the site.

    its because your working in a subdomain, you need to adjust the paths in the .htacess file to adjust for the location of your site

    Bookpeg, best way is to let your hosting provided do it for you if you are not sure the steps..

    Thats is what I did when i noticed the problem..

    Do you think they will adjust the joomla htaccess point..
