    :-[

So I have installed the sample package or this template, and I have renamed the htaccess file, and then changed the settings for the SEO Settings. I have a suspicion that I cant use the seo setting on sub domains that mask (am I using the correct term)

I try it using the folder on the server, and it works fine. ie http://www.sitename.com/folder

but when I access it at: http://www.subdomain.sitename.com some links will not work at all with a 500 error, and some will use just a plain text type of page.

I know that I just just remove the masking, but I would really like to have the mask in affect..

Can anyone help me with a fix for this and the possible implications if I am able to use the masking?

Thanks in advance, I am new to this, so this might seem like a newb question.

Solved, sorry but wanted to put what I did to resolve it, it was easy.

In the HTACCESS file, I un-commented the rewritebase/, and it worked great. Don’t know if there will be other problems, but I will post if there are any.
