Hi,

I am using JA k2 Search and Filter to create 2 separate directories on a site.

I know how to edit the default search results page via the Component options, but what I need is completely separate search results templates.

Ideally I wouldn’t even need to create such templates but simply inherit the K2 template for the category/category-items view.

Please help.

Hi landlordsny,

Thanks for your very good question. As I understand, you have 2 separate K2 search modules, each module works on a directory and you want different layout for search page in each module ?

In that case, we do not support the feature yet. You can switch any layout for search page from K2 filter component but the layout will be the same for all.

But this could be a new feature in the next version, we will note your suggestion and discuss with our Dev team.

I have the same problem — my site’s catalog has several subsections and I was intending to use several modules with different result page templates. It would be fantastic if you add the feature 😎

I’ve passed this to dev team and they agree to add it as an improvement in upcoming version.
