Hello,

I’ve encountered some minor and major problems with IE8and9 using this template.

IE8

There shouldn’t be a space on top above the menu. But in IE8, there is a white space.

Both IE8 and IE9

The menu bar becomes a 2 liner. I’m not sure if this is caused by my customization, however, I don’t see this happening on Firefox.

IE9

I use ja_news_fp. When using headline_fp as headline style and when logged in on the front page, the headline article DISAPPEARS. The article show without any problem when NOT logged in. Also, when I change the headline style, the article will show.

I hope this could be fixed by JA immediately.

I tried to access your admin and ftp but error occurs ,please send me your correct admin access by editing your post to update access fields.

i saw a site in ie8 i think there is an height problem just change in tagcloud.css as

.clearfix{
height:0px;
}

I hope you could help me out. By the way, the problem with IE9 is solved. It’s just that it takes longer to load.

With your suggestion with tagcloud.css, what is this related with?

hi

you have a problem with white spacing on top in IE8,
so you can make changes in tagcloud.css. as shown above.

Hi sushismb

I tried to fix it but not sure why the space is appearing on top of the template and it seems that this is how the demo template looks in IE 8 as well.. I have raised a bug report for this and you can check the fixing progress at http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JATCTELINE-5. I would also suggest you to go for latest Teline template based on JAT3 framework which provides lot of features..

Hello Sushismb,

We had edited css for this issue in IE8. Please follow these steps :

– open mod_janews_fp.css and add
.headline.ja-zinhlwrap { width:100%; height:290px; }

– open ie8.css and add
#ja-content .ja-zinhl-inner .clearfix { width:auto; display:block }
#ja-mainnavwrap2 { height:24px; display:block }
#Top { display:none }

We will release new version soon, please check later.
Hope this works for your side, please let me know if have any problem.
