I was looking for a social community/network template/script that had an event calendar in it that allowed users to upload video, images, chat, etc… I swear I saw a screen shot of a calendar and so we purchased JA Social.

I have not been able to find ANYTHING in my files, in the control panel, anywhere that resembles a calendar.

Now I’m seeing JomSocial is completely separate. i feel this was all a bit misleading. I don’t like spending hours reading fine print.

Can JomSocial be run without JA Social?

Hi,
JA Social is a template for joomla , and Jomsocial is just a component for community is not a template.
