Hi, I updated my site last night, and got server error 500. After restoring it to 3.6.2 all is OK.
is there a problem with the templates to run with joomla 3.6.3?

Hi
Template is compatible with Joomla 3.6.2 as u know latest version is just out .
at this time its hard to say its issue of template or any 3rd party extension , first I suggest you restore the site back up to compatible Joomla version . And wait for the template update for Joomla 3.6.3 .
Besides if you wish me to take a look on this issue , you can share the admin details via Private reply I will check it .
Always take backup of the site before updating Joomla .

Hi,

If you have backup of previous version, try to restore it and wait for the new release version of template before updating.

Ok, I will wait for the update, site is already restored. There are no other extensions apart from JCE.
Lets see if others face the same problem.

I checked template with Joomla 3.6 and its working fine.
Please make sure all of 3rd party extension are ready for latest Joomla or not before updating Joomla.
Also take backup of site before update.

you mean 3.6.5 or what?

I upgraded to 3.6.5 and virtuemart 3.0.19 (dev version) and I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function displayMediaThumb() on null in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxx.xxx/httpdocs/site/site2017/templates/ja_cagox/html/com_virtuemart/sublayouts/products.php on line 71

I changed template to ja_brickstore, and there is no error there.
So there must be something wrong in ja_cagox.

Please check, as I have no intention of going back to joomla 3.6.4.

ok, I see.
I think this cagox has not been a popular template, but I need to know so I can continue with my project.

When will cagox be updated to J3.6.5/VM3.0.18+ combination, or better, will it ever be updated?

If not, I have to choose another template.

Hi
VM is just updated as their regular updates and template also update time to time with respect to extension updates. It take time to update all templates due to large collection. You can stay wotg template also its also a popular template with e-commerce features.

I suggest use compatible version of VM so that u Will not face problem.
