Hi there,

I’m using the Pollux template (fine stuff by the way!!!). Now I’m trying to set a specific mainmenu option as selected from my php code. (To be precise, from a Cake app running in Joomla using the Jake component). Normally (I gather) a menu option gets shown as selected because Joomla supplies the Itemid value attached to the menu option. But now I’m using a link on some page and cannot pass the Itemid as parameter in the url. Manually setting the Itemid var in ja_splitmenu.php did not work.

Does anyone have any idea how to set a mainmenu option from php code?

I’ve been staring at this for a while now, so any help is very much appreciated!
