Hi, is it possible to set the countdown module to countdown to a specific hour rather than just counting down to midnight on the selected date?

For example, we have tried inserting a time into this section however this had no effect on the countdown timer.

Is our date/time format incorrect? Or is there a setting / line of code we need to add / alter?

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

You need to upgrade JA ACM module of Countdown : style-1 type with latest version and set the configuration like my screenshot.

    Hope it helps

    Hi @ninja Lead,

    Thank you for your reply.

Ok I have updated JA ACM Module to version 2.0.9 and ensured Countdown Style 1 is selected, as you can see: . However I don’t have a “Start hour” field as shown in your screenshot…

    Please advise.

    Thank you

I set the configuration from Upcoming Event and see it’s showing the event count down on your site.

    Hi @ninja Lead,

    Thank you for your reply.

Ok, but this hasn’t resolved our issue… For example the upcoming event is set to start on 02/12/15 at 19:00 in the backend: .

But in the frontend it displays as starting in almost 24 hours time . It’s 09:16 in the morning where I am, so it should say approx 1 day 09 hours 44 minutes.

I noticed your backend countdown settings say “Start hour” whereas ours says “End date”, is there a reason for this?

I have checked the server time settings in the backend and set them to “London”, but this doesn’t seem to change anything.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

I spent a lot of my time to debug the problem on your site. Look at the screenshot below

Your site is setting with London, if you want to show that time or not (you can set time with your location)

Beside that, I see you changed the code from templates/ja_charity/acm/countdown/tmpl/style-1.php file with offset: +10

    Hi @ninja Lead,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes London is the timezone we want set.

I’ve had a look at the templates/ja_charity/acm/countdown/tmpl/style-1.php file and tried changing offset: +10 to something different such as +0 or +2 and I’ve also tried completely removing the offset: +10 line, but it seems to have no effect whatsoever on the countdown.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

With London timezone, it will get offset+0, I set with the same at your time but with GMT+7 and got the offset+7, it’s working fine.

and below is London timezone and it shows correctly at your time or not
