Is there any way to set the width of the header and footer so that they do not stretch with the browser window?

I think it would look much better if there was a way to contain the whole page, or have some kind of border on both sides. Thanks.

You can do that with a wrapper DIV, you can take the outer DIV of JA Spica or JA Archenar and build them into JA Regulus.
