Hi Folks

I’m not sure if I’m missing something obvious here, but this is driving me crazy today! :-[

I’ve read the T3 User Guide and the JA News 2 User Guide but can’t seem to get to grips with a very fundamental issue.

I can’t figure out what controls which 3 categories are pulled to JA News 2, it doesn’t appear to follow either the categories list order (via Category Manager), nor does it seem to follow the order in the Magazine Menu?

There doesn’t appear to be anything in the JA News 2 module which sets the order either 😮

Here’s what I want to achieve and I’m sure somebody must know an easy way to do it! :-[

I’ve created all my sections, categories and layouts. Here’s how my ‘News’ menu appears on the front end:

However, here’s the three ‘default’ categories in JA News 2:

All I want to do is set the overall ‘site default’ so that the first three categories listed under each menu are the same three categories pulled into JA News 2 and in the same order.

So my question really is how to move the categories around in the News section in JA News 2 to match the order of my menu (General -> Politics -> Environment).

Yes!
It seems that they ordering by alphabetical and no custum solution for this.
Any advice JA?
