Hallo,
Thank you very much for this very nice template. This is the best of all.
Everythink works fine – except:
I want to show some images without link readmore, Title, intro-text, categorie. So i put the pictures in k2-items with a k2-categorie “Text”. The settings are all on “dont show” for these things. BUt i still see the Categorie, Date, Title and Read-More. The Entry-Text is gone.
Where do i have to do the settings, so i can see only the picture?

Hello,
i have only one more category-settings in category “Kuschel”. Also there is set, that the categoryname and created-date should not be shown. but it shows.
So i tested some settings, but none of them work. So please tell me, where can i change setting for the wall.
You can test if you want.

I tested:
if the menu-setting is a k2-category evertything works fine, but i have a k2-tag page. And there it does not work. And the parameters are not taken from 1 category, because sometimes the into-text is shown and sometimes it does not show.
So what can i do. I need a “tag” paging.

But i don’t understand. The k2-Tag-Page is a standard-menu-option.
I only want, that the category-settings work proberly.
At the k2-category-page it works fine. This is how i need it. you can see here http://www.kuschel-wellness.de/index.php/template-2
so what is the difference. Why do i need a developer?

Hello kuschel,
All items In a “wall” are the same style. If you would like to apply custom style on some items, you must do some custom work. We can’t support customization as it is beyond the support scope.

I checked both showcase and tag page and I don’t understand what the problem in question is. Both page are completely different.
But then tag options are slightly complicated in K2. I think the options you are looking for is in the K2 parameters. It’s a button on the top right of your screen when you are in the K2 component. There should be some display options for Tag listing page. There is where you control the introtext to display or hide.

I also found the k2 settings. This settings are only for backend, it seems like this. I give you also a screenshot.

Ok since there’s a language barrier, let me try to use numbers instead.
The tag settings need to be done at “Layout & view options for tag listings” which is under “Layout & Views”.
That is the first tab of the K2 parameters. Then from there, you scroll down to the 3rd section to find the settings for tags.
Alternatively, depending on your setting. You can look for tag.php in the ja_wall or default folder then remove the unwanted code directly from there.

thank you for your answer. Yes i found the settings in the component. There i changed the setting “show category”, Date created. But this settings are for all categories.
I think, i need the settings for a category.
Is this possible?
If not, is there a chance to put a css-class in the extra-field like “grid-double dark”, which is not showing the intro-text, title, and readmore.

Just go to template.css and look for the style dark. Should be item.dark then set display: none; for everything that you want to hide.
So when the style dark is applied, those text fields will be hidden and it will only affect style dark. It’s impossible to pull the category settings for tag page due to the way K2 works.

I used the extra-field = sticky and changed template.css
.item.sticky .header, .item.sticky .content, .item.sticky .readmore, .item.sticky .footer {
display: none;
}
