    Hi,

    I’m new with Joomlart, Ja Social and the Slider.

    We’ve made an update from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 and updated to the actual Ja Social Template too.

    After the updates I got several problems with the slider:

    1. Images without text:
    2. The text beside the images are not shown. Though I use the same code for the content of the articles of the slider, the appearence differs. The images are shown, but not the text. Have a look at the attached images notext.jpg (the current one) and withtext.jpg (the old version).

      The code:

      <div class="ja-slide-item"><img src="images/stories/slideshow/banner/sl-01.jpg" alt="Für den besten Papa der Welt! Online-Treffpunkt für Väter. Unterstützung finden und geben und dabei Spaß haben..." />
      <div class="papa">
      <h2>Für den besten Papa der Welt!</h2>
      <h1>Online-Treffpunkt für Väter</h1>
      <h3>Unterstützung finden und geben und dabei Spaß haben...</h3>
      </div>
      </div>

    3. Images to big
    4. If the window of the browseror the resoultion is too small, the images in the slider are to wide. So they are overlapping other parts of my website. (have a look at resolution.jpg)

    5. click target of articles
    6. If I click on a sliderelement the content of the slider will be copied to another section of my website. Have a look at wrongtarget.jpg

    Maybe the cause are rookie mistakes but I couldn’t find a solution yet.

    You can see the different websites at http://www.papacommunity.de (the current version) and http://www.papacommunity.net (the old version).

    THX

    Stefan

    PS: I hope it’s OK to use one thread for 3 problems. If not gimme a clue or split it by yourself.

    1. notext
    2. withtext
    3. resolution
    4. wrongtarget

    Hi sttila,

    When I visited your site, I believe the errors were caused due to the configuration.
    Since we save the modules’ configuration by file config, hence whenever you update your site, please go to admin manager of those modules to correct and configure it the same with the old site.

    If this doesn’t solve the issue, it would be great if you can PM me your temporary site access (FTP, admin access, your site URL, etc..), I indeed shall check this in depth for you!

    Thanks

    Thx for your input.

    Sorry that I didn’t give a feedback til yet.
    But I’m still trying to config it. There seems to be a problem with the css. I think I will try at weekend.

    I will tell you, if it works or not.

    Thanks

    Stefan

    OK – I think I pointed out the problem.

    It seems, that my CSS definitions are completly ignored.
    Maybe the solution is really simple, but I can’t find it.

    But I will open a new thread for this problem.

    Thx

    Stefan
