I have had this issue for a few days now and spent ages re-installing my site and its back again. I keep getting this popup box saying

“Shame on you!” This is not the kind of message I want to send to my clients on every single page every time they load my site!”

I have requested not to show it again, have edited the line:

define (‘SHOW_IE6_WARNING’, ‘none’);

in the php file and it doesn’t make a blind bit of difference. I have cleared cookies, cache, everything. My template is completely messed up and I can’t open any pages on my site.

If I log in, the template goes back to normal, if I am not logged it, it’s totally corrupted.

I am using latest versions of everything

Yes, your site is broken. IE6 warning only show up when you are using IE6, the problem of your site now start from you edit in php file ?
Your site info giving me is not working, I can’t access to your back-end, please re-send.
I will find out your problem soon.

Hi,

I had to re-install (a number of times now) so the details I created for you had dissappeared. I have the ftp details for you to access the server, but can’t see how I add them to the original login details on here.

You should at least be able to access the Administrator panel now. How do I send you the ftp details?

Additionally, I am getting loads and loads of spam sign ups (they are at least not being able to post in the forums now which is good, but somehow they are still able to sign up) I don’t know if this has anything to do with this problem

Hi, are you able to help me? Or maybe advise as to what I need to do to fix. My site has been corrupt for a couple of days now and getting loads of complaints. Please help me.

Hi Luna,

I had to do another re-install.

No, it’s not fixed, as soon as i make a change to one of my components and save it, the site becomes corrupted. If I change a single value in say the Adsmanager language file (I changed 1 character in a text string from the $ symbol to the £ symbol) and the template wouldn’t work, the template becomes corrupted, the same if I change anything in Kunena etc. I can’t update my site. The only other change I have made is to point the create account to the Jomsocial registration as advised by another forum moderator. I am now afraid to continue working on my site as every time I make changes it becomes corrupted. This happens whether i make the change in the Administrator component or on the server. But oddly, only when a user logs in, does the site work – no template issues then.

Did you re-install your template or the whole data ?
And What change did you do on your component, and what component ? Let me see the error, then I will help you find the solution.

I have tried as you said I changed 1 character in a text string from the $ symbol to the £ symbol but it’s fine.
Ah, I think, if you change anything, clear your cache please (include cache of T3 and Joomla ( Back-end >> Site >> Maintain >> Clear Cache >> Check all then clear)
