Is there a speed-related difference between disabling and uninstalling the modules/plugins/components?

Do i get more speed if i uninstall the module instead of just disabling it?

Even if you disable an extention …the code is still there although in most case it’s not working the more extentions you leave on your joomla site the more load time you get.

So yes i sugest that you should uninstall (some times reduses also the db tables – it depents on the extention) all unused extentions.
