I cant get articles to show up on my startpage, my startpage is blank very strange. Hope somebody can help me with this.

I’m just starting this template also and I’m a Noooobbbbb to making websites aswell but my 2 cents is that I think that you have to use the jaNews module to display your frontpage and or also if you use module position user7 you will see whatever article you choose under this

I hope this helps you out – I’ve been scratching my head with this template for a few days now;)

This template don’t display front-page like default, at Front-page, you should publish Janews and Ja news FP module, you can read Userguide of this module

If you want display normal front-page
You can edit index.php(templates/ja_kulanite folder)
Search those lines:

<?php if(!$tmpTools->isFrontPage()) : ?>
<jdoc:include type="component" />
<?php endif; ?>

Change to

<?php //if(!$tmpTools->isFrontPage()) : ?>
<jdoc:include type="component" />
<?php //endif; ?>

nguoiabcd, I’ve noticed that this is the same (or very similar) to changes I’ve had to make in other Joomlart templates. Might I recommend that this just be a parameter in the template config? That way I can just flip a button when I want to display content on the front-page, rather than modules-only.
