June 20, 2014 at 10:15 am #199010Hi,
I have a question about fields on the register form. Can it be done that when a person registers no field are shown but when a jobseeker want to make a new resume they will show up. In this way people can register to make job agents, favorit jobs etc but no resume if they don’t want to. If I choose hide field on new form it also doesn’t show up when someone has registered and want to add a resume.
Next to this, why is a seperator field still showing on new form while I have chosen to not show it on new.
Thanks

June 23, 2014 at 8:56 am #539835I’m afraid that JA Jobboard does not provide option to configure Job Seeker singup form that way. Since, creating Resume is a required step when user registers as Job Seeker.
But, you can configure to all form fields of Resume form as not required, so user can pass this step faster if they do not want to fill these data.

June 26, 2014 at 9:41 am #540256Ok, thanks, not the best option because a resume needs some required fieds otherwise a resume is useless for a curstomer.
Still a question:
1. If a jobseeker register thru the normal register form, are they added as job seeker or not?. In this way they can add a resume afterwards.
2. Is there a way to copy the login module and leave out all resume fields so that job seekers can only register and fill in there resume in a later stage.Thanh Nguyen Viet FriendThanh Nguyen Viet

July 1, 2014 at 7:24 am #540748Hi,
JA Jobboard component has a function to upgrade normal Joomla user to Employer/Job Seeker. So you can use normal registration form of Joomla, and user will upgrade and update Profile/Resume later on.

July 14, 2014 at 4:25 am #542192Hello,
To show menu item for normal user in Jobboard system, you need to create menu type
default-menus-{language code}I have created menu type for Nertherland, and added upgrade account menu items for it.
You can add more menu item here
http://www.seizoenwerk.nl/nieuw/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=items&menutype=default-menus-nlYou need to clone it for remaining languages

July 14, 2014 at 9:28 am #542227Ok, thanks this works but still a job seeker has to fill in there resume. Is there no way to make a module that does not show resume items but just a login form to create an account. Not everyone want to add there resume they only want to create job agents, add favorit jobs etc.

July 15, 2014 at 9:39 am #542401Hello,
I have suggested some options that you can use to configure JA Jobboard in this case. I afraid that I can provide more support for this case, since it requires some modification from standard workflow of system, and it is out of our support scope.
If you still want to implement this feature, you can hire a dev to get it done.

July 15, 2014 at 7:16 pm #542473Ok thanks, but maybe it is something for the future because it can be handy to not show resume details and only login for job agents.
