Hello,

I am trying to register as an employer but it is not working. It tells me over and over again that I didn’t fill in the correct fields but I can’t see which field it means. Can you tell me how I can set up that it checks the fields and shows then in red if it is not correctly filled in or if the field is empty.

    Thanks

    Dear Tim,

Please look at this documentation http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Job_Board_2.5/Administration#Forms_customization

In the field setting, there is a attributte to check validity of “Type of check”

    HI,

Thanks, I have read that, everything is setup ok. I think I was not clear enough but I mean the basic data that has to be filled in, it is not showing a red mark when it is not filled in correctly. It does not show if the password is ok and if the user name is not taken yet. Can this be done?

    Dear Tim,

That is the basic setting. In the username case, the message will display when it is used. See details:

it is not showing a red mark when it is not filled correctly.
It only shows when data does not fill. If you want to verify data, you must customize this layout.

OK, I have no idea how to customize this so bad luck for me. It is just better to verify the data instead of telling afterwards, it irritates people because they have to fill in a new pasword, username etc again.

Maybe an idea for the update.
