I have a site ready for production except for one big problem – The side menus will not expand properly.

I have a top level menu entry like “Guide” and when one clicks on Guide I would like all the second-level menu options to display, like Joomla side menus normally do.

One can set the menu parameters to be automatically expanded, but this makes the frontpage look far too cluttered.

This is a very easy problem to reproduce.

Hi,

This menu is the default of joomla.
I think you should post this issue to forum joomla for more detail.
