September 20, 2009 at 5:28 pm #144411Hi this might be my unfamiliarity with Joomla 1.5 but I can’t seem to apply the side modules (left, right, col-mas1 … etc) to the Article pages:-
Coming off the Front Page
Coming from the Section MenuCompare our live Joomla 1.0x site (Yes it’s Teline I): http://www.packwebasia.com/product-packaging/the-boxed-ice-cream-experience.html
With our new ‘test’ site: http://www.packwebasia.com/joomla15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2326:the-boxed-ice-cream-experience&catid=921:product-packaging-design&Itemid=100074
Modules have been set to all the ‘magazin’ menus

September 21, 2009 at 3:18 am #317951Haven’t touched it – honest!
We have about 4,000 articles:-
Our server people hepled us migrate from Joomla 1.0.5 a couple of weeks ago where we used iJoomla News & Artio SEF… we have been having problems with the Standard Joomla 1.5 SEF giving 404s on the headline or read more link – so have it turned off.How do I check if:-
– this problem was on the old (still live) site: http://www.packwebasia.com
– happened during the migration
– or is something in the new site (we have very few components installed so far: VMart, Agora, Xplorer, FacileForms & no odd little extensions.scotty Friendscotty

September 21, 2009 at 8:21 am #317986Open up the old sites admin panel and have a look in the menu manager. See what the menuID’s are like. Your first one starts at 1 then 2, 3, 4, and so on. I’ve never seen a site with MenuID’s of over 100,000 before.

September 21, 2009 at 10:57 am #318000Thanks Scotty:
I did that, result:Joomla 1.0.5 (current site)
It’s now about 3 years old, and we’ve had a few freelancers playing with it over the years, some good some wannabes – I can’t believe we had 10,000 menu items that have since been deleted!-Top menu IDs range from : 3-236
– Main menu range from: 11353 – 12050
– Sections (an iJoomla News auto created) 1230-1277Joomla 1.5 (new re-build)
Just migrated a few weeks ago:
-Top menu IDs range from : 3-236
– Main menu range from: 11353 – 12050…. BUT HOME starts the weird numbering = 100001
– magazin JA Menu starts at: 100102 – 100135 (adding unwanted items etc)Does that make any sense to you?
