We are using a Tiris template on Joomla 2.5.8. The slideshow and side news modules (2.5.6) worked when we launched the site. However, recently, the side news modules have slipped down the page/are no longer in their correct positions. And, the text in the animation is being jumbled together, not like it used to be – header and then the text was in the animation.

Here’s what I’ve done:
-Updated the module
then
-Reinstalled the module
-Adjusted size settings up and down, than back to original
-Checked that there was a space in the suffix, ” ja-sidenews-wrap”

If I unpublish the side news module, the rest of the modules move up to the correct positions. So, my guess it has something to do with the side news module.

What can be causing this?

Hello Crossi10,

The problem comes from the class suffix of this module, somehow, it doesn’t load its class suffix.

I changed in this file: templates/ja_tiris/html/mod_jasidenews/sidenews_content.php and it seems work now.

Please have a look and let me know if this helps.

Hi,

I think it won’t happen again since the class suffix is added to the HTML custom file, so the style won’t be missed.
