Hi guys, trying to play with the sidebar menu a bit, but looks like I’ll need a hand.

Want to make categories expandable to show their subcategories (but stay collapsed by default) with a small down arrow to indicate they are expandable.

List all categories module does not help – can only show the subdirectories expanded.

Prefer joomla native solution to keep the template style (not 3rd party accordion modules for example). JA Accordion could of help, but it shows articles only, not category lists.

Hi obliat,

That is default module of Joomla – Articles Categories, it requires customization in JS and CSS to achieve that. With much customization work, please hire a developer to get it done for you.
