June 12, 2012 at 2:27 pm #178077Hello All,
JA Wall does not work correctly on a Samsung 10.1 Tablet.
In landscape mode (holding the tablet horizontal). 1280×800 pxWhen I rotate the tablet 90 degrees to vertical mode (800x1280px) the little menu button appears and all works correctly.
In landscape mode the template makes room for the menus but does not put it there.
See attached picture.
Kind regards.
Hans

June 13, 2012 at 12:12 pm #457248Thanks Wall Crasher,
It is not a problem, with the install but with the template itself.
It does not work properly on android with a resolution of 1280px width.
Then the menu does not show. Not only on my website http://www.i-courant.nl but also on any other site.
The demo JA Wall site http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_wall has the same problem
see attached picture. So I think this was not checked before release. On other (lower) resolutions it does work but 1280 is native to all the Samsung tabs where millions where and still are sold from.
Thanks!

July 17, 2012 at 2:51 am #461092Hi hansnld,
I does not tell you to update the JA Wall.
I mean, please update your Samsung android version. And if you want to update JA Wall. Please use JA Extension Manager to update JA Product.
🙂I would recommend you to backup before start any updating. 🙂

July 18, 2012 at 4:50 am #461240Yes, that was kinda stupido! hihihi
When I typed it I realized my error! LOLI did install the new version but then the logo of the website goes all weird, it took me hours and did not get it right,
After a day of trying I did give up and did put the old version back.I do not know why JA did choose this hard way of changing the logo.
In my view joomla is made to make it easy to change things like logo’s and add modules.
Its kinda hard to find the right code to change, especially when there are differed versions.Anyway, thanx for your advise (again!)
I hope I get it right by the end of this month, I am busy with it for 4 weeks now to get it all right, thats the most time I ever spend setting up a website and I am thinking to change to templates from rockettheme or yootheme,Those are in my view much user friendly then this template. at least much easyer to change some code like the logo problem etc.
There are 3 or 4 things that still not the way I would like them to be and my time is running out.
My employer is not so happy with me at the moment and I feel I did choose the wrong template.Regards
