Hi!
I believed in the presales-questions that all templates are Unicode compliant and I installed ja_Sargas with sIFR
unfortunately the fonts which come with that mambot do not support Unicode ;=)
as you can see in my test-installation with test-content:http://www.petuschki.net/diesunddas/jl/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=0&Itemid=9
I do not know whether this mambot is thirdparty or not, so where can I find unicode – compliant fonts for that ? :-[

thank you, I check that and I try if it is enough to upload other fonts to
mambots/system/mos_sifr
I found some fonts, but I am stuck installing it
I de-installed the mambot
I added the fonts to mos_sifr.xml
installed again (including these fonts)
but still the font-list only shows the 3 fonts which came with the packageI am stuck, maybe you have a hint for me?
November 25, 2006 at 3:34 pm #212022I really do not know how I can add other fonts to this system
sometimes Joomla is very unlogic and strange…
something is in database, something is in admin area, something is in language file, something in template.xml etc… >:(Khanh Le ModeratorKhanh Le

November 26, 2006 at 3:25 pm #212027Please make sure that your modification has been applied to the xml file by viewing the content of file mambots/system/mos_sifr.xml on your server.
November 30, 2006 at 4:15 pm #212158Hi, well I just came back from a tour, so I could not answer before.
The fonts are listed in the XML here:
http://www.petuschki.net/diesunddas/jl/mambots/system/mos_sifr.xmland they are uploaded to:
http://www.petuschki.net/diesunddas/jl/mambots/system/mos_sifr
but in administration backend, http://www.petuschki.net/diesunddas/jl/administrator/index2.php?option=com_mambots&client=&task=editA&hidemainmenu=1&id=21
only the 3 standard fonts which came with the package are listed:

November 30, 2006 at 7:12 pm #212166You have forgotten to modify the paramenter:
<param name="ja_title_font" type="list" default="ultra_vertex" label="Font" description="Select font for header.">
<option value="ultra_vertex">ultra_vertex</option>
<option value="opal">opal</option>
<option value="gill_sans">gill_sans</option>
</param>December 13, 2006 at 4:17 pm #212534Thanks for the answer, but I was quite sure that the optionlist is generated dynamically, reading the xml – file
for what do I define the fonts in the xml if the backend does not read that xml but needs my manual editing? and which php-file to edit?????
I think I will forget that mambot, it is too numb ;=(
configuration should be read from configuration file not from the source …
