I’ve been away a while and really lost touch….

Can I use a highly cutomised version of JA EDENITE 1.5 template on Joomla 1.7?

    Hi Phil,

Actually yes you can manage to “modify” your customized template to work with Joomla 1.7 but there are several thinks you have to do (add/modify) in order to achieve this.
This one should provide you with all the help needed : http://docs.joomla.org/Upgrading_a_Joomla_1.5_template_to_Joomla_1.6

But you can also try something else… you can go for JA Edenite (For Joomla 1.7) and make all modifications (i am not sure if this is easy than converting your modified version to 1.6/7) . The point to this change is that you go for T3 Framework that expands your possibilities.

Ok what I’m thinking of doing is taking a more up to date template and I’m going to try and make it look similar, but new at the same time….

I WILL be asking lots of questions guys and girls 🙂

Yes, you can’t deploy the quickstart installation on your old site, quickstart is only for new site creation.

I made all my own stickynotes in Edenite, can I cut the css codes from my edenite file and paste them into the Community one?

If yes which css file can I add them to?
