I have a Debian 9 host running apache2 under a Hyper-V system. I have a basic Joomla site up and running and is properly being served. I then followed the instructions for the quickstart package but was unable to identify where to tell the installer to use the provided sample data. I hoped that the default would be to use it but unfortunately that is not the case. Therefore, I have a site up and running but it contains no sample data.

Is there a way to ass the sample data after the installation is complete? Or, can you tell me where I made the mistake?

Here is the documentation helps you install quickstart package.
You have to install sample data during the installation.
