    I have setup the template at fitnessengros.com and host it at siteground.com, but it have load times of 5-6 sec. Siteground have some supercache and dynamic varnish cache that could improve the speed of the site, but because of the following conflict it cannot be used:

    Cannot send headers; headers already sent in /home/fitnesse/public_html/app/code/local/Wavethemes/Jmquickbuy/controllers/IndexController.php, line 188

    Trace:

    #7 /home/fitnesse/public_html/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Model/App.php(354): Mage_Core_Controller_Varien_Front->dispatch()
    #8 /home/fitnesse/public_html/app/Mage.php(684): Mage_Core_Model_App->run(Array)
    #9 /home/fitnesse/public_html/index.php(87): Mage::run(”, ‘store’)
    #10 {main}

    I have enabled magento compiler and css and javascript compression.

    Is there any speed improving extensions or other settings you could recommend that you know work with your theme?

    Really need to speed it up.

    Thanks

    Could you please have a look at this today, because as I wrote in the PM for you the slideshow and tabs on frontpage are also not working. If you could fix this first..

    Thanks.

    @hjortlund:

    After you disabled all Cache on the server and disabled the combine JS and CSS files in Magento backend, I have checked & resolved the issues from Tabs & Slideshow on your website.
    You can enabled the needed cache features to improve performance of your website now.

    Let do it & let me know how it goes.

    Great, back to the real issue then. Have enabled the cache and CSS & JS combine again. However site is still loading in about 6-10 sec.

    Any suggestions, how we can make it faster??

    @hjortlund:

    To improve performance of your website:
    + Please enable the compilation mode from Magento Admin of your website. You can find more about the compilation mode of Magento at here: http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/modules_reference/english/mage_compiler/process/index

    + Also, please contact the admin of your server to more improve the performance of website, because the time load a image on you website was very slow too (http://fitnessengros.com/media/jmslideshow/5_wexer.png). You can see more at the screenshot file attached.

    Enabled the Compilation mode, but what about my first post where I encounter an error? In this case I have setup Varnish Dynamic cache which should improve the site speed, but it somehow conflicts with your Jmquickbuy as I see it from the error?

    Also tested the image you tried and have a load time of only 19 ms. I would guess this is the improvement after enabling the compiilation mode.

    Hi,

    Joomlart, in my opinion, makes the best templates on the web. However everything can have margin for optimization.
    The template in question is one of my favorites and I believe the best eshop template they have created, so far!
    I am currently writing a guide on how to optimize this awesome template and turn this (GTMetrix on Google’s PageSpeed and YSlow, taken a few moments ago, from the actual Joomlart’s Demo site.):

    Into this (GTMetrix on Google’s PageSpeed and YSlow, taken a few moments ago, from a live site that I have installed this template and perform the optimizations.):

    I could post a link to it, if anyone is interested,when I am done.

    Cheers 😀
