Hey,
i use the purity III template and my site (http://www.hdsports.at) is very slowly.
And i dont know why, speedtests said, the “Received time” is some times more than 3 seconds.
My hoster write, my server has a big Load (8) which produces by PHP and MYSQL and i should optimize my scripts.
On my frontend-site i have only 4 scripts (2x t3, jce Mediabox, Google Analytics)

On my webspace in “t3-assets/css” i see 1281 css-files. is that normal? and in “t3-assets/js” there are 84 .js-files..

have anyone an idea, why mi site is so slowly? have i a problem with my template? Or is it an other reason?

Hi i saw your page size is 2.3mb and as per tools pingdom test

site is loading in3.71 seconds that is not bad .
Your site first byte load is quit high . if you will Joomla cache and turn on cache plugin , it should be decreased .

hey,
thanks for the tips. that helped a little bit to make the site faster. (enable cache and use a plugin)

But i can’t solve the problem, that the first byte takes so many time (i think its the “Received time”). Other sites have received times with 0,05 ms, and i have every time more than 1 s – this is a very big difference.

i know it’s no problem with the template, but i dont know which file/script/query produces these high waiting time 🙁

Sorry but this kind of work is not under JA support scope . You can hire a developer for such customizations .
