Hi, my first website: http://www.snapshotbasket.com is up and running.
I need some feedback on the following:
1. Site loading time. Does the site load time seem acceptable? Do the images load fast enough?
2. Organisation and order of material. Does the process seem straightforward and easy to follow?
I have tried a very minimal approach with very specific content only. This is all mainly to ensure that images load quickly. But to be honest, I still am not quite satisfied. I am not experienced enough I suppose to figure out how I can make it faster. Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
The site was built on JA Purity. Non native modules and components I have used are: swmenufree 5.0, Highslide ver 4.x.x for galleries (Joomlanook), Google Adsense (Easy Adsense), ECB Exchange rates.
Also, I understand that database version can affect site load speed. I am currently using mySQL 4.1. Should I upgrade to mySQL 5.X ? If so, is this a major process that will require proper backing up and re-installing components? Or is it straightforward?

I would suggest tht you try the steps on a demo site first. Let us know if it helps or works :p
