When viewing our website in FF, it shows up just fine. But when we view it in IE7/8, the layout is off a lot. I haven’t made any changes to the CSS in quite sometime, and I don’t think the template has even been updated for a while either. Would someone mind taking a look at it for me? I don’t know enough about what would cause this problem and my HTML skills are so-so.

    Thanks!

Teline II is an older site – superceded by Teline iii and then 12 months or so later still by teline iii v2.

IE 8 was probably but a twinkle in Bill Gates eyes when Teline ii came out.

It sounds like you’ve recently started work on the site – is it too late to switch to a newer template?

No, I haven’t done any work to the site in a long time–probably over a year.

Updating the template is not something I’m allowed to do–I would have to get explicit approval from my boss, which more than likely will never happen. He’ll just say “fix it.”

I’ve disabled some of the modules thinking they were the problem, but nothing changed. Thanks for your help though!

I can’t be sure, but I think this might be causing a problem: –

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.houstonda.org%2Fpress-releases%2Fblog.html&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

Line 636, Column 108: document type does not allow element “link” here

    …href=”/modules/mod_ja_catslwi/mod_ja_catslwi/ja_catslwi.css” type=”text/css” />
