The site is not showing correctly on Iphone (haven’t checked on Ipad).

    1. The sliding pictures on the top JACM module is picking up random pictures from different sections.

    2. Menu on Iphone is also not working. Touching the menu doesn’t do anything.

Have emptied the cache on Iphone but no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi

    1. Do you mean the module ‘[Magazine – Home] Featured News 1’ ? it will pick up images from articles which belongs to the category that you select to show in back-end settings of this module.

    2. I checked with my iPhone and my colleagues but I can navigate all menu items when viewing on your site. Kindly check again.

Thanks Saguaros but I have checked it on 3 iphones and all three have the same problems. One is an Iphone 5C and two are Iphone 6. Yes, the magazine-home featured news. It shows the right article but wrong pictures that it picks up randomly from other categories.

Also, the menu button on the left of logo not only doesn’t load the button (it’s just a empty box instead of the button icon), it doesn’t do anything when you touch it with your finger.

What is worse is that every once in a while, it does work but mostly (99.99% of the time) it doesn’t. I have emptied the cache of Safari browser on the phones but it has no effect on the website display.

For the magazine featured news module, could you send me screenshot highlighting the article that has problem.

And with the menu button in mobile view, did you experience the same issue with our demo site in your devices? http://ja-teline_v.demo.joomlart.com/

Thanks again, Saguaros. Two new observations: 1. the demo site looks fine on the Iphones I tested. 2. I tested our site on two different sites that allow you to simulate iphones or other smartphones and tablets and our site looked fine in both simulators.

So, I am stumped. The three Iphones that we own, they still have the problems as I mentioned before but in simulators they look just fine.

The sites I used to simulate Iphone are http://mobiletest.me/ and http://www.responsimulator.com/

Well, as long as it works on other Iphones, I am not going to worry about it. However, I’ll continue to test it on other Iphones. Thanks for your help.

You can also try to clear all caches of browser on your mobile device then test it again 🙂

Already cleaned the cache on Iphones but no luck. Happens on all three Iphones we have. The simulation site mentioned in my previous post shows it right so I have pretty much given up on it. Having said that, I have a strong feeling the problem is in the template (setting, custom css or something like that) and not in the Iphone.

It’s hard in this case as I can’t see the error at my end.

Pls try to disable any 3rd party extension on your site and see how it goes.

Saguaros, not sure if you read my last posting (not this thread) but I recently upgraded the template version and it broke my site. With Adam’s help, I was able to rebuild the site. So that was the bad news! But guess what? After I was able to rebuild the site (thanks again, Adam!), this Iphone issue went away by itself. Now it’s showing up just fine on Iphones and Ipads. Pictures are right and so is the menu. So all is well now. Thanks for your help.
