I have a bit of a dilema wher i uninstalled web link by accident.

This has no resulted in my site search not working. It brings back the following error

Warning: require_once(/components/com_weblinks/helpers/route.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /plugins/search/weblinks.php on line 49

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/components/com_weblinks/helpers/route.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /plugins/search/weblinks.php on line 49

Can anyone pin point the files i need to reinstall?

I think you dont have to reinstall it but you can just reupload the /plugins/search/ folder to your website.

You can get the folder from a quickstart wich you unzip on your local pc, or a default joomla install should do.

Reupload that folder (/plugins/search/) and try again.

All sorted with a little inspiration from bennitos, cheers dude.

I corrected this by re-uploading the following directory

componentscom_weblinks

Search works fine now!

ah sorry had the folder wrong (think that was the christmas wine speaking 😉 )
