Hi,

How can I change the Site Title from “New Movies” to anything else?

I have changed it from Global Configuration – didn’t work
I have changed it from Template parameters – still didn’t work.

any ideas? Please help.

Do you mean the title of the home page?

Menus -> Main Menu -> Home -> System (Parameters)
Change under there.

Ok, that solutions works. Now I have a follow up question. That means each menu page is going to have its own page title and browsers are going to read that as title. Is there a way i can make it so that all pages get the title from Global Configuration Site name?

did it make sense what I want to do? 🙂

I changed the hard way 🙂 exported database found there page name changed it and imported db again.

This method works in every single Joomla installation.

I believe it would be best if Joomla.org Developers can make this feature change for the next version. It would be much easier if the website title can be read from the global config rather than from each menu title.
