Hi,
I have a problem with the flash header module – because the site tool icons and submenu items (none at the moment because of this problem) disappears behind the flash.The Wistery Artistic demosite is ok – there the tools and menu is shown above the images.
I use Artistic and joomla 1.0 – the site is http://www.caras-it.dk – and I have selected the menustyle that gives some space, so the problem can not be seen,
but I need to know where to look,
cheers,

November 13, 2008 at 9:26 am #279029Hi Marbz, it’s very hard to diagnose the problem without seeing it.
It sounds like a z-index problem. I notice that the demo site is actually using the javascript option and yours is flash. Have you tried setting the module to use javascript instead?
or… you could try something like in your template.css
#ja_header_flash {
z-index: -1;
}I don’t have this template set up anywhere so can’t test.
November 13, 2008 at 10:38 am #279033Hi Scotty, thank’s for your tip – I have just altered the menustyle so we can see the problem – and inserted your z-kode in the css, but it still displays behind the flash.
I tried the javascript – but the images was displayed too fast – as if the delay was ignored. The flashoption makes the images display perfectly,
the site is live at http://www.caras-it.dkcheers

November 13, 2008 at 1:47 pm #279041You must have changed the submenu back again?
I’m looking at your site now and the site tools are not going behind the image in Firefox or IE.
November 13, 2008 at 10:47 pm #279084No, same thing – but I just checked in Windows, IE7 and FF2 – and they both work fine here as well.
On my Linux development laptop, both ff2, ff3, Opera and Ephiphany shows the tools (and menus) behind, but the Konquerer browser shows them in front. On the demosite – I assume they use the flashplayer as well – it displays well in -all- browsers
I wonder what else could influence the z order?
