Did you manage to sort your problem out, exactly the same thing happening to me

I have been getting the following on nearly all my websites, it’s been driving me nuts. At first I thought it had been hacked. But then a website on a completely different server got affected so it must be coming from my computer

Nope, looks like you have been hacked.

quang’s post misses out a few things. When a site gets hacked the hackers often leave behind other ways of getting in. Simply replacing files does not protect you. You also need to chek all the data/media files on your system as well as the database. Once someone is in, they often leave a little stuff in the databs tha will aid them in returning late on.

I know the following link is not Joomla related but the informatin the thread contains is useful if you have any website hacked.

I ended up reformatting my hard drive completely and have been deleting and replacing all my websites.
