I have a similar but not the same problem in IE6 (as the above thread).
And the changes in the .js file proposed by namnp129 and jan.bradley don’t fix the problem
I’m using Joomla 1.5 (quickstart pack) and in IE6 I have error :
Line : 4
Char : 2
‘document.getElementById(…)’ is null and not an object.
Code : 0

The page opens but the error message in the bottom is annoying.

SORRY, PLS DISREGARD MY LAST MESSAGE.
It was caused by the fact that there were no active items (yet) in the Main menu.
(and I have previously changed the “default” menu item)

It is strange that after I replace .js file and replace

The first image has full width but from the second, the image is half width.

Dear ndtoan,
I’ve tried to investigate the cause of your problem but not success.
It is a strange bug, I’ve try to change template, ja_slideshow module but not success.
The first I think the bug is rised from other module but It isn’t right.
I can’t found the cause of this bug.
Sorry for this inconvenience.
