If you’re in a “test” mode, then why not try installing the quickstart+sample data and see if that works for you.Why re-invent the wheel?

I think you having the problem with Ja slideshow module??if you installed it properly?may be if your images not displaying correctly you want to set the image path correctly…using joomla back end you can do that. Thanks
November 9, 2011 at 5:25 pm #423851I am pretty sure than the slideshow module has been well installed.
The path are also ‘correct’, but somehow it is not taking the imagesDo u want to have a look?
I can send the credentials on private. Thanks

What do you mean when you say “the name of the pictures are empty?”November 10, 2011 at 6:00 pm #424093What i nean?
You can observe the problem in the code of the first post.
The slideshow appears in terms of navigation, description, etc.. but the pictures. The pics doesn’t appear. I checked the configuration path and permissions and they are fine.
Even gets that there will be 3 items(pictures), but the img src””, is empty.Albert

November 10, 2011 at 7:16 pm #424107Perhaps you can try uninstalling/reinstalling the Slideshow Module – see if that might trigger something.
I still think your quickest/best bet would be to simply wipe the slate clean and reinstall utilizing the quickstart+sample data process. (probably could have saved a lot of time and headache by now).
November 11, 2011 at 8:59 am #424199Yes, i reinstalled the module several times !
Certainly it would be faster to install from quickstart, but on one side afterwards you have to clean a lot of articles, cat, images, modules, etc.. and on the other i already wrote a lot of articles.
Moreover it should work smoothly, because my deployment is not complex nor have a lot of strange components!!

November 11, 2011 at 9:04 am #424201With Akeeba Backup, you can backup your Joomla site’s specific parts (folders, files) and specific tables… Then install quickstart and restore your contents.
