Hello.
Is it possible to change image position within slideshow2 module (JA Ministe)?
I’m using JA Ministe, when I activated Ministe Skin, images appear in the center instead of the right side, and the thumbnails appear vertically, invading the articles area. A large portion of the image appears faded, instead of just a small part on the left side.I had to create slideshow position, since it was not in the minisite Template. Maybe the Module is wrongly placed within this slideshow area. ¿ How could I set this position correctly ?
Thanks.

June 7, 2011 at 4:45 am #395021Hello,
For Slideshow 2, image/module position in JA Minisite
You can use this code as wherever you want to position for Slideshow 2 :-
<blocks name=”top” style=”xhtml”>
<block name=”slideshow 2″ type=”modules” style=”raw”>slideshow 2</block>
</blocks>
You can also refer to this url where you can get userguide for Slideshow – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-minisite-for-joomla-2-5/
Can you provide your site url and admin access at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/74101 so
that we can help you better.

Hola rvaras,
Pritam’s explanation shows how to put the slideshow in another module position. But I think your problem is another one: You want the image aligned right as in the demo but it appears left and becomes hidden by the mask, right?
This will happen if Animation type (Module manager >> Edit >> Parameters >> Stage settings) is set to Fading. Try switching to Moving and see if that helps.
Good luck.

thanks for your reply. I didn’t create slideshow within top block, but it appears to be in the same place as in the Demo. I’ve sent you the account details; I’d appreciate if you could take a look at it.
Regards.

Thanks. It didn’t work. I tried the MOVING option in the animation type menu, but it only shows the first pic in the same wrong position, when it disapears no more pics come into the slideshow. I also tried several more options combined with MOVING or FADING option, such as: Quad.easyinout – Linear – Pow.easeinout with no luck. I also set Fit to main image and full size options with the same result.
Regards.
