The current slideshow is using a background image that fills the full page so that i will follow the page design to show content full width.

Can u share me how much width value you want to set for slideshow So that i can help you with some css changes for slideshow position.

sorry i am happy with the width
is just the length it is very long taking up too much of the page
can you tell me where i can adjust it so i can make it length smaller
i want the length similar to the other pages banner

Hi
Its not slideshow module. its JA Masthead module.
That is used to show page heading. You can edit the module from module manager.
For the homepage slideshow you can replace the images with a lower height images also you have option in the slideshow module to set the size.
Slideshow size is based on the image used in it.

Kindly change the images first with small height images and then set the height value.
I can see the images are still same and not replace also the height you set is very height.
After replace the images with small height images kindly update me if still you have height issue.

For the images kindly try to replace images with your own images in the slideshow and check.
