May 12, 2014 at 3:40 am #197640Hello,
The slideshow included with JABiz appears to support pulling data from joomla articles, k2 and image folders. However this template is designed to support Easyblog.
How would one integrate this to the blog extension this is supposed to support?

May 12, 2014 at 3:19 pm #534670That is actually a VERY GOOD question . . . . and I see your inquiry has already been forwarded onto the JA Development Team for review and (hopefully) further comment.
In the interim, here is some info I found which may (or may not) be helpful . . . .

Hi,
The template do support Easyblog, that means it has additional styles for EasyBlog extension and the same is part of the demo. We may consider providing support in our extensions once Joomla 3.5 (long term release) is released. With too many versions to support, we would prefer to keep it simple for now.
K2 support in our extensions was important as K2 was used by many as replacement for com_content being a CCK and proved to be very stable over the version releases. Maintaining our extensions for K2 was never a problem.
We have received few request for easyblog support in our extensions and we will include the same once J 3.5 is released.
Regards
Arvind

May 13, 2014 at 2:48 pm #534881Hello,
I understand your business concerns but I do not think you should build a template that features easyblog and then have an extension that only supports K2 and joomla articles featured in it. I have been a long time K2 user but I actually purchased easyblog to use this template for a client and try something new.
I will work around this but if this template had a K2 template I probably would have stuck with K2 although easyblog has some nice elements. Clearly I can still use K2 I will just need to use the default template or one I need to customize.
Regards,
