I am trying out Avian II for a website project. However I just discovered that the slideshow feature does not work properly in Firefox. But works perfectly in IE (figures).

In IE – if you click on the slideshow (either within a gallery, or on the listing of all galleries) – you can click through all photos without issue.

However in Firefox (and also in Flock) – you will either get:
– The images won’t show at all (blank white box that resizes to the size the box should be if there was an image, but no image at all)
– You click through to maybe the third or fourth image and if you keep clicking next the box keeps showing the same image (but it increases the image number at the bottom). It’s like it is stuck.

Has anyone else ever seen this? I tried to reproduce it on the demo site and (naturally) it works just fine. I can supply a url, but I’d prefer to do it via PM as this is a demo site for a potential client.

I think that this problem caused by Name of images, Please view image attachement for detail . In image attachment is list of image will display in slideshow When click on slideshow on 1985 AE86 GTS. please rename image and update in rsgallery and try again.

I’ll give you a thank you for having the noodles to figure this out and inform us at the least that this is why its happening.

BUT WHY MAN WHY?!

This is not an issue with INTERNET EXPLORER.

This IS AN ISSUE when using the mighty FIREFOX!

Shoot — I have almost 500 pictures on my site, I can’t see me have the time to rename them all now just so the slideshow works for firefox when most people use IE.

IS THERE ANY OTHER SOLUTION?

Why would it do that in FF and not in IE?

That solved the problem (removing the spaces in the file names).

Obviously it is still a bug in the code – given that it works in IE (of all browsers) but not Firefox. However I am happy that I know how to get around it.
