I am having a weird issue and the problem is that the SlideShow appears on all pages even though I specified that it only appear on the home page. When I don’t select any page for it to show on, then the SlideShow disappears, but when I select just one page (the home page) then it shows up on ALL the pages. Is there another setting somewhere that should be changed?

    Hi tworld

I have checked your slideshow and it appears only in the home page as you selected

Maybe now you have solved ?

Weird, I am still seeing it on all pages, in both the English and French versions too.

    Hi

Try to clean your browser cache

I don’t think it’s a browser cache problem. I tried it on 3 new browsers that I just installed just to test this and I am getting the same problem.

    Hi tworld

Your read more link points always to the home page

the page you see is always the same, you are reding the read more on the same page

for this reason the slideshow module is still there

    I hope i was clear

When I look at the read more link in Firebug, it looks like this:
    <a href=”/demo-category/welcome-trauma-world.htm”>Read more: Welcome…</a>

Why do you say it always points to the home page?

    Hi

Your module must be published in Main menu (All) not in Main menu english

Well, I wanted to try that, but I can’t save it because of this problem: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/slideshow-module-save-save-buttons-do-not-work/.

Ok, no problem, take your time. It is late here for me, so I will probably not be able to respond right away. Hope we find the solution soon.

    Hi

Please change the chmod to 775 to your configuration.php so you can enable the ftp on your site

Why do I need to enable the FTP layer? I was told it was unnecessary and not recommended. Do you need to upload something? Also, what was the problem with the slide show module?

The config file is 755 now.

I also just checked the slide show module, saving still doesn’t work.
