Hi there i have a problem with the slideshow. It pertains to the semi transparent rounded corner at the bottom right of the description bar.
Does anyone know how to remove this so it is just a solid block?
i have attached a photo for your perusal..
many thanks
chris

Even your demos have this.January 7, 2009 at 9:11 am #285058In Firefox it’s fine but IE 7 the problem persists

January 7, 2009 at 11:43 am #285110Hi,
I was going to write and tell you that it must be on your computer or server as I don’t have the problem. Then you mentioned IE7. I tried that and it is still fine on the Demo as well as a version I have on my own localhost.
Maybe if you give the url someone there is more of a chance to see what the problem might be.
January 7, 2009 at 12:07 pm #285115thanks,
the bottom right of the transparent description bar on IE 7 with all updates applied looks jaggy and rounded. (the slideshow)Have tried via 3 differing computer locations to view it and it is the same result

Hi there lbryant,I tried the link you sent in FF and IR& and no jagged edges. Just the dark rectangle with sharp edges. Sorry, but I don’t know why it would be like that for you. It is frustrating and time consuming when things like that happen. I hope you find the solution soon.

January 8, 2009 at 4:45 am #285294Hi lbryant,
I have tried to check your issue on IE7 with our template but could not find.
I have check your issue with: IE7,IE6, FF on Window vista, IE7,IE6, FF on Window XP.Please send me your url so that i can find this issue on your website.
But i think this strange is from your browser. You should download the IE7 setup and install again.
January 8, 2009 at 8:52 am #285364Hi, i have tried it now on 6 differing machines at work and home.
On 3 machines it is fine in IE7 and on another 3 the rounded problem occurs. It is most peculiar.
It seems it may be one of two things, a plugin for IE7 conflict, or the actual version of IE7.version 7.0.5730.13 seems to have the problem whilst earlier revisions do not. It may also be a plugin issue as stated before.

January 8, 2009 at 12:29 pm #285421I don’t know what could cause this. It seems a bit “Mysterious” Did you try to reinstall the template with Quickstart. Maybe that would help. It sometimes does.
January 8, 2009 at 12:35 pm #285423Hi,
No i didnt reinstall because after noticing the issue on my localhost install, i then tried viewing the demo site on joomlart Hosting and that had the same problem.
I will post a screen shot of what the 3 computers i have tried with IE7 display, differing ISP’s and differing locations.Remember i also have had 3 IE7 machines display it correctly.
This really is a bizzare occurance.

January 8, 2009 at 12:53 pm #285428You’re right:
This really is a bizzare occurance.
Sorry but I really cannot think of what would cause this to happen. I really hope someone will find the solution for you, or you find it yourself.
February 9, 2009 at 11:10 pm #290332Hi, I’m having the same problem over here
Even when I try to open the demo-page at joomlart website, rounded jagged corners appear.
It only occurs with IE7If anyone has an idea, please let me know!
