I use slideshow with description but I need to change the fadetime of the description box.

Where do I do this?

you open this file modulesmod_jaslideshow2assetsscript.js and find code:

this.descFx = new Fx.Style (this.maskDesc, ‘opacity’,{duration:400,transition:this.options.maskerTrans});

you adjust value for the duration variable
