hi,
I want to use the slideshow, it has been enabled, but it doesn´t load.
I get the message that
JFolders::files: Path is not a folder.I have followed the userguide.
my domain is: http://www.centrodeeducacionactiva.com/joomla/
my images for the slideshow are stored in: /joomla/images/stories/images
I have the same problem with the logo, I can’t change it.
I appreciate any insights.

April 25, 2010 at 3:38 pm #341489Ok, I just checked and I see your problem.
1) Your image path is wrong. The default directory is already your joomla directory. So putting “/joomla/images/stories/images” is not correct… you only need “/images/stories/images/”
2) After I put the correct image folder path into the module, I noticed your site went to a blank page. The reason for this is because your images in the directory “/images/stories/images/” are MUCH too big. I see them here as being several megabytes too big. Use an image editor to shrink their size down to only 10-20kb tops.
Right now I left the path at “/images/stories/”. After you’re done changing the image sizes, just change the path to “images/stories/images/” and everything should work. Let me know if you need any other help.
Thanks for using joomlart!

April 25, 2010 at 6:43 pm #341498hi,
you were right. I will work on the images, but I trully appreciate your help.
the only other problem I have left is with my logo. I’ve uploaded it as logo.png, modified the css template to the size of the image, 350 x 403 px, but it still doesn’t load on the site.
thank you for all your help.

April 27, 2010 at 1:48 pm #341783I spent 30 minutes fooling around with everything. Did you modify your CSS or template anywhere else?
April 28, 2010 at 12:00 am #341855no, I just modified the template to change the size of the logo. however, I keep getting the template logo and the main menu, on the left side, keeps loading the homepage, not the other articles I linked them to.
as always, thank you for your help.
